The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) posted a Request for Information (RFI) for the provision of professional services to develop a digital tool to assist local governments in South-East Asia to monitor and visualize plastic waste leakages into the marine environment under the second phase of our ‘Closing the Loop’ project which commenced this month. The objective of the RFI is to stimulate market interest and provide ESCAP inputs for the formulation of a ToR for the EoI and RFP stages. The RFI carries no obligation that firms would go forward to the EoI/RFP process and serves as a ‘pre-facilitation’ stage with interested firms. The RFI is posted until 25 March 2020 in the UN Procurement Division and UN Global Marketplace links below:
