Indonesia | Pontianak City

Pontianak City is the capital city of the West Kalimantan province occupying an area of 118 km2 in the delta of the longest river in Indonesia, the Kapuas River. Geographically, it is located in the equator, thus known as Kota Khatulistiwa or Equatorial City with a total population of 672,440 (the first semester of 2021). The city is divided into three parts by the Kapuas Besar and its major tributaries (Read more from Pontianak’s official website).
