Training on Target Setting and Climate Action Plan Elaboration and Networking of Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy in Malaysia

This third training module will focus on Target Setting and Elaboration of the Climate Action Plan. The training will be provided for up to 50 representatives from local governments/authorities in Malaysia. The activity will be supported by the European Commission’s Joint Research Center (JRC) as well as by selected GCoM partners (CDP, UCLG ASPAC). After the training, a thematic discussion and networking event of the Global Covenant of Mayors will take place to promote activities and local action on climate change in Malaysia. At the event, it is foreseen that some Malaysian cities will sign commitment to the GCoM.
