Location and Climate:
Hua Hin is a seaside resort town located in the southern part of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, on the west coast of Thailand. The town covers an area of approximately 96.36 km² and has a population of around 40,875 people. Hua Hin has a tropical savanna climate, with hot and humid conditions throughout the year, and an average temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius.

Energy Profile:
Hua Hin is predominantly reliant on fossil fuels, with most of its energy needs met by coal and oil. However, the town has begun to incorporate renewable energy sources, such as solar power, into its energy mix. A number of solar panels have been installed on public buildings and private homes in the town.

Hua Hin is experiencing the impacts of climate change, including rising sea levels and increased frequency of extreme weather events such as storms and floods. These impacts threaten the town’s tourism industry, which is a major source of economic activity.
